Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 Live Updates: The election campaign for the Maharashtra assembly elections ended on Monday, with the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance aiming to retain power and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition seeking a strong comeback. Voting will take place on November 20 across all 288 assembly constituencies, and the results will be declared on November 23. Throughout the campaign, prominent political figures such as Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and several Union ministers travelled extensively across the state to rally support for their respective candidates.

Maharashtra is gearing up for its assembly elections on November 20, with 4,136 candidates competing for 288 seats across the state. Among them, 2,086 individuals are contesting as independents. Eknath Shinde, Devendra Fadnavis, Ajit Pawar, Aaditya Thackeray, Kedar Dighe, Praful Vinodrao Gudadhe, Yugendra Pawar, Milind Deora, Varun Sardesai are some of the major candidates who are contesting. A total of 101 candidates will contest from Congress, 95 candidates from Shiv Sena will be fighting, and NCP Sharad Pawar faction party will have 86 candidates to contest.
