2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR launched at Rs 9.42 lakh — Here’s what’s new

Kawasaki has launched the updated Ninja ZX-4RR in India at Rs 9.42 lakh, ex-showroom. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR sees subtle changes as part of the update while it also gets a marginal price hike of Rs 32,000 compared to the 2024 model. Let’s take a closer look at what’s changed with Kawasaki’s smallest four-cylinder offering.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR — What’s new?

As part of the update, Kawasaki has given the Ninja ZX-4RR a new colour scheme — Lime Green/Ebony/Blizzard White. Apart from the new colour scheme, there are no other changes in the sports bike. The only other change is the price.

Kawasaki has carried over the 399cc, liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine as before, which makes 77bhp and 39Nm of torque. With RAM assist, the engine is capable of making 80bhp. The motor is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and it makes its power at 14,500 rpm, making it a screamer.

Kawasaki has retains the aggressive design of the motorcycle, which is borrowed from the litre-class Ninja ZX-10R. The motorcycle gets clip-on bars and an aggressive riding position with the rider tucked in and high-set foot pegs. The ZX-4RR is more track-focused than being touring-friendly like the Ninja 650.

Other bits have also been carried forward such as the 17-inch wheels, dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc at the rear, USD forks at the front, a monoshock at the rear, and a TFT instrument console. The Ninja ZX-4RR is built around a trellis frame and tips the scale at 189kg.

In terms of electronics, the motorcycle gets dual-channel ABS, traction control and four riding modes: Sport, Road, Rain or Custom. The new Ninja ZX-4RR will be available in limited numbers in India and Kawasaki dealerships have already started taking bookings for the motorcycle. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR has no direct rivals in India.
