Mahindra XUV 3X0 achieves 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP 

Bharat NCAP has released the safety crash results of the Mahindra XUV 3X0. The compact SUV secured 5-star rating like its siblings the Thar Roxx and the XUV 400 EV. The XIV 3X0 is the second compact SUV to receive top honours after the Tata Nexon. The XUV 3XO offers 35 standard safety features like six airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a 360-degree surround view system with a Blind View Monitor. The XUV 3XO also features Level 2 ADAS, including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Keep Assist along with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and all four disc brakes.

Mahindra XUV 3X0: Adult Occupant Protection Rating

The XUV 3X0 is one of the safest compact SUVs in the market and it scored 29.36 out of 32 points. It narrowly missed out on beating its arch-rival, the Tata Nexon, which achieved a shade higher rating with 29.41. The 3X0 scored 13.36 out of 16 in the Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test while the Nexon secured 14.65 points. The Mahindra SUV did get the better of the Nexon as the former scored a full 16 points in Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test while the latter managed 14.76.

Mahindra XUV 3X0: Child Occupant Protection Rating

The XUV 3X0 received an impressive 43 out of 49 points for Child Occupant Protection missing Nexon’s ratings by 0.83. While testing the child restraint systems, the 3X0 scored a full 24 points in Dynamic Score, a full 12 points in CRS installation and 7 out 13 in Vehicle Assessment Score. Just for reference, the Nexon, on the other hand, managed 22.83 in Dynamic Score, top marks in CRS installation and 9 in Vehicle Assessment Score, which is two points more than the 3X0.
