German carmaker Audi has opened bookings for the new Q7 in India, ahead of its launch on November 28. The new Audi Q7 can be booked at Rs 2 lakh. The upcoming Audi Q7 will be locally assembled at the company’s SAVWIPL plant in Aurangabad. Here are more details of the new Audi Q7 ahead of its official India launch.
New Audi Q7: Design and features
The new Audi Q7 gets a slightly redesigned front profile with a new grille, which replaces the horizontal slats from the current-generation model. The headlights also see a tweak in design to give it a split look while the DRLs are now placed higher. The front and rear bumpers of the new Audi Q7 have also seen a tweak in design. The updated Q7 will be available in five colour options: Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey and Glacier White.

That said, the new Audi Q7 gets two interior colour choices – Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige – and the SUV gets an updated infotainment system that supports apps like Spotify and Amazon Music. Other features include electrically adjustable seats, a B&O music system, a powered tailgate, a digital cockpit, and ADAS amongst others. The Q7 will be equipped with eight airbags.

New Audi Q7: Engine specifications and competition
Powering the new Audi Q7 will be a 3.0-litre TFSI petrol engine that makes 340bhp and 500Nm of torque with the help of an automatic gearbox. The power is sent to all four wheels via Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, and the carmaker claims a 0–100kmph sprint in 5.6 seconds while the facelifted Audi Q7 can achieve a top speed of 250kmph.
