Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 India launch on November 23

Royal Enfield, after launching the Bear 650 and unveiling the Classic 650, the Chennai-based motorcycle maker is getting ready to launch the Goan Classic 350 on November 23, reports Autocar India. The new Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will be the company’s fifth 350cc motorcycle in its lineup to feature the latest J-Series engine.

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 — What is it?

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is a bobber, based on the Classic 350, the company’s best-selling model. The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will be based on the Classic 350 platform and will also share a number of components from the same. However, the biggest change will be the seating and the handlebar.

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 features a large ape-hanger style bar, while the seat is finished neatly to give it a bobber look. The Goan Classic 350 will have an option to have a pillion seat, most likely a similar setup as the Shotgun 650. The motorcycle also gets forward-set footpegs like the Meteor 350, along with a round headlamp and a circular tail lamp. The latest sighting of the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 seems to be an accessorised version, as it is seen with a windshield, pillion seat, and alloy wheels.

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 — Engine specifications and other details

The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 will be powered by the familiar J-Series engine that does its duty on the Classic 350, Meteor 350, Hunter 350, and Bullet 350. The 349cc single-cylinder engine makes 20bhp and 27Nm of torque with the help of a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is expected to remain in the same state of tune.

One big notable difference between the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 compared to the rest of the 350 series will be its paint job. The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is expected to get bright colours to pay tribute to the vibrant motorcycle customisation culture in Goa. When launched later this month, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 could be the most expensive offering in the 350cc range.
