Oben Electric launches its electric 2-wheeler Rorr EZ starting at price Rs 89,999

Oben Electric has launched its new electric motorcycle named Rorr EZ (pronounced easy), at an introductory price starting at Rs.89,999 (ex-showroom) for a limited period. The Rorr EZ can be booked at Rs 2,999 along with test rides and deliveries from its stores. With the support of Oben Care by providing after-sales service, the two-wheeler ensures a hassle-free ownership journey. The customers can opt for warranty packages, with coverage up to 5 years or 75,000 kms and offers EMI options by paying Rs. 2,200 per month.

Oben Rorr EZ: Powertrain

Oben Rorr EZ is available in three battery variants – 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh. It has a high-performance LFP battery technology, renowned for its 50% higher temperature resistance, 2X longer battery life and can be relied on in different Indian climates. This electric two-wheeler offers a torque of 52 Nm that gives a top speed of 95 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The driving range of Rorr EZ can be extended up to 175 km (IDC), and can be charged up to 80% in 45 minutes.

Oben Rorr EZ: Design and Safety

The Rorr EZ carries the signature of Oben in a neo-classic aesthetic which is built on the ARX framework. It features a colour-segmented LED display, enhances visibility and provides rider diagnostics, combining practicality with visual appeal. The two-wheeler provides three distinct drive modes, Eco, City and Havoc to increase battery life and is available in four colours, electro amber, surge cyan, lumina green and photon white. In addition, it includes safety features like UBA, geo-fencing, theft protection, and DAS to ensure a safe ride. 

Founded in August 2020, headquartered in Bengaluru, Oben Electric is set to expand their business across India, by opening 60 new showrooms, enhancing its presence in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur and Kerala, in the coming months.
