Welspun Corp bags 2 orders for supply of coated HSAW pipes in US

Welspun Corp on Monday announced that it has received two large orders in the USA, cumulatively valued at approximately Rs 1300 crore. In a regulatory filing, the company said that the order is for the supply of coated HSAW Pipes for Natural Gas Pipeline Projects. The order, it said, would be executed in FY26.

“This win further reinforces our leading position in the USA O&G market. Our outlook for the USA market remains extremely positive. We have also participated in a few more projects and are favourably placed in additional 1-2 large projects,” the company said in a statement. 

Earlier in August, Welspun Corp reported a 50 per cent year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at Rs 248.2 crore for the first quarter that ended June 30, 2024. The company’s revenue from operations dropped by 22.9 per cent to Rs 3,137.3 crore as against Rs 4,069.3 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

Part of $5 billion Welspun World, Welspun Corp is engaged in the business of manufacture and distribution of steel and steel products.
