Kia celebrates festive success with 28,545 units sold

Kia India, announced to have delivered 28,545 units in October 2024, a 30% increase from the 21,941 units delivered in October 2023.

As per the Vahan portal, more than 28,545 customers (excluding Telangana) received their Kia vehicles during the festive season. In October, 54 customers celebrated Diwali by selecting the newly launched Kia Carnival Limousine Plus.

In October 2024, Kia India dispatched 22,753 units, and there was also strong demand for its Made in India products abroad, with 2,042 units exported, with the company’s aim to strengthen its presence in the global automotive industry.

Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. VP and Head of Sales and Marketing stated, “Kia India is prioritising accelerated vehicle deliveries to meet growing demand while working closely with our dealer partners to manage inventory with precision. By aligning swift delivery with smart inventory control, we ensured our customers receive the timely delivery of their favourite vehicle, while our dealers benefit from streamlined, stable operations. This approach reinforced Kia’s commitment to building a robust, resilient network that drives success for our partners and delivers exceptional satisfaction for every Kia customer. In April 2017, Kia India signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Andhra Pradesh government to build a manufacturing facility in Anantapur District. Mass production began in August 2019, with an annual capacity of 300,000 units. In April 2021, Kia India updated its brand identity to “Movement that Inspires,” focusing on providing meaningful customer experiences through innovative products and services. 

Since then, Kia has launched five vehicles in India: the Seltos, Carnival, Sonet, Carens, and EV6. The company has dispatched over 1.3 million vehicles from its Anantapur plant, including more than 1.05 million for domestic sales and over 250,000 for export. With over 400,000 connected cars on Indian roads, the brand has a network of 640 touchpoints across 287 cities and aims for an expansion across India.
