Lutyens’ Delhi real estate remains hot as Golf Links bungalow sells for Rs 100 crore

Yashwant Singh, a scion of a royal family from Rajasthan, has purchased a luxury bungalow in Delhi’s elite Golf Links neighbourhood for Rs 100 crore, according to property registration documents obtained via CRE Matrix.

The luxurious property, sprawling over 588.97 sq m of land with an impressive built-up area of 867.33 sq m, features a 2.5-storey layout, including a basement, ground and first floors, a terrace room (barsati), and servant quarters.

The deal was officially registered on June 12, with Singh paying Rs 7 crore in stamp duty and corporation tax. The seller is Anu Jindal, a resident of The Camellias in Gurugram, who confirmed the sale as part of their move to a new residence. Singh’s address is recorded as APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi.

This transaction underscores the sizzling demand for premium properties in Lutyens’ Delhi, especially Golf Links, where supply remains scarce. Real estate experts note that many long-standing owners are cashing in on their prized assets to sidestep future complications while creating legacies for their heirs.

The area has witnessed several high-value bungalow deals recently, including a Rs 155 crore purchase by private equity executive Sanjay Kukreja and his wife Shaveta Sharma, and a Rs 160 crore acquisition by Vasudha Rohatgi, wife of former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi.

Delhi’s most exclusive neighborhoods are seeing a sharp rise in high-value real estate deals, driven by strong demand from high-net-worth individuals and top business figures seeking ultra-luxury homes in the capital.
