Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena on Monday released its third list of 15 candidates that has four names from the BJP, including Shaina NC and BJP leader and former Union Minister Raosaheb Danve’s daughter Sanjana Jadhav.

While Shaina NC will contest from Mumbadevi on Shiv Sena symbol, Jadhav has been fielded from the Kannad seat of the Marathwada region. Jadhav had joined the Shiv Sena on Sunday. The other two candidates from the BJP who have been given tickets are Amol Khatal from Sangamner and Vitthalrao Langhe Patil from Nevasa. Khatal is pitted against Congress veteran Balasaheb Thorat.

So far, 11 BJP leaders or functionaries have been given the tickets by the Shinde-led Sena. On Sunday, the party had given tickets to seven BJP leaders and functionaries.

With this list, Sena has so far announced candidates for 80 seats, which includes 13 seats which the party will be contesting in Mumbai.

The two Senas led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray are set to face off on at least 42 out of the 288 assembly seats that include 19 seats in the high-stakes Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
