Happiest Minds appoints Anand Balakrishnan as New CFO

Happiest Minds Technologies has appointed Anand Balakrishnan as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Anand Balakrishnan will report directly to Managing Director Venkatraman Narayanan. 

Anand brings with him more than 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and business strategy. He has previously held leadership positions at companies like Marsh McLennan (formerly JLT), GE Healthcare, and Mindteck.

Anand joins Happiest Minds, brings 20 years of experience

Anand joins Happiest Minds from Mindteck, a publicly listed IT services company, where he worked for six years. During his time there, he played a key role in improving financial performance and guiding the company back to profitability.

“Anand brings a strong blend of financial acumen and strategic thinking that aligns perfectly with our vision for the future,” said Venkatraman Narayanan, Managing Director of Happiest Minds. “I look forward to working closely with him as we continue driving innovation and delivering value to our stakeholders.”

Anand is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the American Institute of CPAs and holds a commerce degree from Bangalore University.

Happiest Minds share price

Happiest Minds Technologies is a digital transformation company offering services in artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud, automation, IoT, security, and more. The company serves industries like BFSI, EdTech, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Retail.

The company has seen a decline in its share price over the past year, dropping 32 per cent or Rs 283.55. It debuted on the Indian stock exchanges on September 17, 2020, with shares listed at Rs 166 each.
