New-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire spied ahead of launch on Nov 11

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the third-gen Dzire in India shortly after the company launched a new generation of the Swift earlier in May this year. It is no secret that Dzire is essentially a Swift with an external boot compartment based on the hatchback. However, ever since it has dropped Swift from its name, Dzire has gained its known identity.

Over the last few months, numerous test mules of the new-gen Dzire have been spied testing on the roads. Recently, Maruti Suzuki announced that the latest iteration of the compact sedan will officially break covers on November 11. Ahead of its official launch, the new-gen Dzire has been spotted once again, this time in its full glory.

New-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Design

The latest spy images confirm that Maruti has completely revamped the design of the upcoming Dzire. Up front, it gets a redesigned face featuring a new grille with the Suzuki logo at the centre and a piano black and chrome trim connecting the two new sleek LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and turn indicators. The fog lamp is nestled inside a gloss black bezel whereas the grille and the air dam are housed within a blacked-out assembly with horizontal slats.

The side profile gets a prominent shoulder line with metal finish window sills and brand new dual-tone alloy wheels. The spy shots reveal that the Dzire will offer a single-panel sunroof. The rear looks brawny courtesy of the new Y-shaped LED taillamps with a slim metal strip above it.

New-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Interiors & features

The interior layout will be the exact same as the new Swift with a 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system taking centre stage. Lower variants will offer a 7-inch touchscreen unit. Other features expected to be offered with the new Dzire include a sem-digital instrument cluster with a multi-information display, a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, a reverse parking camera, electrically foldable and adjustable ORVMs, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
