Petrol, Diesel Price Today 29 October 2024: Oil prices went up on Tuesday after recording a sharp decline in the last session as the US is planning to buy oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Investors’ focus continues to be on the development in the Middle East. Brent crude futures surged by 44 cents to $71.86 per barrel whereas US West Texas Intermediate crude was at $67.83 a barrel. The US has also warned Iran that if it decides to take any aggressive attacks on Israel or its personnel then it can face ”severe consequences” for the same.

Meanwhile, state-owned Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC) recorded a huge decline of 98.6 percent in the net profit of the September quarter.
