2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 range launched in India at Rs 19.39 lakh

Triumph Motorcycles has launched the updated MY2025 Tiger 1200 in India at a starting price of Rs 19.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Tiger 1200 is now more advanced than before packing more features and a revised powertrain. The Tiger 1200 is available in two trims GT and Rally.

As the names suggest, the GT trim will be more suitable for road-focussed touring whereas the Rally trim will be more suited for uncharted terrains. These trims are further divided into two variants each namely GT Pro and GT Explorer, and Rally Pro and Rally Explorer.

2025 Triumph Tiger 1200: Feature changes

For starters, the 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 features a redesigned profile with a flatter seat, providing increased rider space and comfort, especially on extended journeys. The optional low seat, lowering the seat height by 20mm to 830mm in the GT Pro variant and to 855mm in the Rally Pro, is engineered for significantly improved comfort. The seat height can be adjusted electronically simply by pressing the ‘Home’ button on the switch cube for one second.

Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally

Triumph has introduced a longer clutch lever offering increased space for riders’ fingers adding further comfort especially on longer journeys. The iconic British brand has now added the dampened handlebars and risers in the Tiger GT range as well which were previously limited to the Explorer variants only. This setup delivers a smoother ride with increased mirror visibility. 

Triumph has also increased the cornering clearance of the Tiger GT range  by lifting the footpeg positions and moving them closer to the bike. All four variants of the Tiger 1200 lineup are now equipped with a new Active Preload Reduction feature that reduces the rear suspension preload by up to 20mm when the rider slows down to a halt.
