Calendar 2017 stood out as an incredible year for the primary market on Dalal Street.

As many as 36 initial public offerings (IPO) from across sectors hit the market during the 12 months and raised over Rs 65,000 crore.

In terms of listing gains, Salasar Techno Engineering topped the chart, recording a 140 per cent listing premium over the issue price of Rs 108. Shares of the company listed at Rs 259 in July 2017 after the Rs 35.87 crore IPO got oversubscribed 270 .
